About
The Feminist Health Fund believes that making decisions for your health and well-being shouldn't be decided by your bank account. Regardless of your gender identity, sexual orientation, age, race or citizenship; if you live in Greene County, Ohio or adjacent counties identify as a woman and need assistance with health related costs please get in touch.

We hope to live in a world one day where our work is no longer required. Until that day, we're here for you.

President
Ann Cooper
Ann joined the Feminist Health Fund board in June 2023, inspired by the organization’s commitment to equal access to health until health is no longer a commodity. Recently retired from her role as manager of a community library, Ann’s professional background also includes secondary and post-secondary teaching, including English as a Second Language for refugee populations. Her volunteer activities have focused on health care; she served on the board of an extended care facility, she currently volunteers for an organ and tissue procurement organization, and she has recently joined the patient/family advisory council for a university hospital system. Grateful for treatment received by women in her own family, Ann feels compelled to address disparity in healthcare access for others. She is honored to participate in the work of FHF.

Member
Kelsey Chance
Kelsey joined the Feminist Health Fund in June of 2022, and served as Vice President for 2 years. Previously working at the Yellow Springs Pharmacy, she alerted the town when a pharmacist refused to stock or sell emergency contraceptives. Soon after he left the job, Kelsey began collecting donations and offering free emergency contraceptives. “The Free Plan B Tree” was born, and now anyone can go to the pharmacy or Antioch college nurse’s station to get free contraception. That’s when she was approached to join the board of the FHF. It has been a dream come true to help women in her community get the care they need. Since leaving the pharmacy, Kelsey now works as a news producer and continues to support women any way she can.

Member
Kori Whittaker
Kori joined the Feminist Health Fund in August 2025. She lives in Yellow Springs with her family and dogs where she works for the local utilities office. In 2018 she had back surgery and the Feminist Health Fund helped pay some of the bills that she was unable to pay. Joining the Board is a way for her to give back to the community that has given her so much.

Vice President
Betsy Fox
Betsy joined the FHF in March 2021 and served as President for 3 years. Betsy volunteers to advocate for women through outreach initiatives that encourage and reward women pursuing STEM education, and she develops mentorship and professional development opportunities specifically designed for women. She is incredibly honored to work with the all-women board of FHF volunteers to raise awareness for women’s health and provide funds to assist women in our community through organizing local events, pursuing grant awards, and connecting with generous donors.
