CURRENTLY SEEKING NEW BOARD MEMBERS & ADVISORY MEMBERS
The Feminist Health Fund strives to incorporate as many individual voices in our leadership as possible. To achieve this, we encourage any woman, regardless of experience to apply for Board membership. Board members rely on the support and guidance of Advisory members who often have previous experience in leadership roles in their community.
BOARD MEMBERS
Board members are the backbone of The Feminist Health Fund. These individuals have voting rights and get to make organizational decisions, including applicant funding requests. Board members are ineligible to receive funding through The Feminist Health Fund.
ADVISORY MEMBERS
Advisory members support the Board members when they have exceedingly difficult decisions to make. These individuals do not attend Board meetings but are contacted when their specialized experience is needed. These members often include legal advisors, educators, medical
practitioners etc.
